Hammerdad's Blog

I'm forever blowing bubbles,
                               Pretty bubbles in the air,
                                                           They fly so high,
                                                                                       Nearly reach the sky,
                                                                                                                          Then like my dreams,
                                                                                                                                                             They fade and die.
Fortune's always hiding,
                                            I've looked everywhere,
                                                                                           I'm forever blowing bubbles,
                                                                                                                                           Pretty bubbles in the air.......
UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!

I am delighted for be given the opportunity to write for "We Love You West Ham" and post my latest on what is actually happening at the club on their Facebook page.

OK Lets get some housekeeping out of the way. Who is in?

We all know him as "THE TERMINATOR"

Julian Dicks has been appointed as West Ham United Ladies first-team manager.
The former Hammers left-back became a legend in Claret and Blue during two highly successful playing spells that saw him score 65 goals in 326 appearances.
Following his retirement, Dicks managed Essex non-league clubs Wivenhoe Town and Grays Athletic and has recently been coaching youngsters alongside former West Ham team-mate Ian Bishop in the United States.

Mauro Zarate has completed his move to West Ham United, after signing a three-year deal. The 27-year-old has now passed his medical and put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal which also has an option to extend it.
The move is Zarate's second to England having spent time on loan at Birmingham City in 2008 and he is delighted to be at Upton Park.
"My reaction is that I am very happy to be at West Ham," said Zarate, who becomes the fourth Argentine to represent West Ham following Lionel Scaloni, Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez.

Cheikhou Kouyate completed £7million West Ham move from Anderlecht. The defender made 145 appearances in the Belgian league for Anderlecht, after signing from Brussels in 2008, scoring three times in the process, and he will to join fellow Senegalese international Mohamed Diame at Upton Park.
Sam Allardyce will be hoping he can be a key part of the team that helps them push for a top-half finish next season.
Kouyate was delighted to make his witch to the Premier League confirming that he is looking forward to progressing with the East London side.'I am very happy, because today West Ham have given me the chance to play in the Premier League, Kouyate told West Ham TV. 'So I'm very happy to join such a club and that gives me great pleasure.

Teddy Sheringham has been appointed attacking coach.
The 48-year-old former England international Sheringham, who enjoyed a three-season spell as a player at Upton Park, can bring a cutting edge to the team and work well alongside the manager, who sustained a third campaign in the Barclays Premier League following promotion via the 2012 play-off final.

"Yes, we suggested the idea, but Sam liked it. We didn't undermine him at all," Sullivan has said.

And finally....

Tony Henry is poised to start as West Ham’s new Director of recruitment.
The delay has been imposed by Sunderland, demanding he serve his notice, so he is on what they call Gardening Leave, after resigning at The Stadiun of Light.
Henry has overseen player recruitment at Goodison Park in recent times as they have moved to a stylish brand of football under Roberto Martinez. Henry used to work as an agent with Paul Stretford’s Formation Group and helped Super agent Jorge Mendes to establish links in England.
